Taiyo Cabletec Co., Ltd. HIV LF
HIV LF is a heat-resistant PVC insulated wire for use in fixed wiring of electrical installations and equipment rated up to 600V. It uses flexible stranded copper conductors and heat-resistant PVC insulation. Compared to IV wire, it supports approximately 1.2 times higher current capacity. Rated at 600V / 75°C, it complies with JIS C 3317 and the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act. It is available in sizes from 1.25 to 200 mm², with flame retardance equivalent to UL VW-1 for sizes ≥8 mm². It also conforms to the RoHS Directive (10 substances) and features “R15” printed on the surface.
